Secure your business immigration visa for Canada

General requirements

Do you have recent business management experience and have become wealthy? Perhaps you have acquired significant wealth as a result of your success as a business owner, a business manager, in professional practice, or as a manager in a large organization? Some of this wealth may have been inherited, or you may have acquired it all through your own efforts? If this sounds like your situation, you may be the type of immigrant Canada wants.

Canada welcomes business immigration and investment. Canada offers an environment that is supportive of business, an effective legal system, a strong economy with established trade links across the globe, and proximity to the United States market

There are two basic ways for an experienced business person to immigrate:

The Entrepreneur category

Using this method, the entrepreneur enters Canada on a work permit and can bring his/her family. The entrepreneur category allows for the establishment of a business, and once the business is running and has met certain pre-defined objectives, permanent residence can be obtained.

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee program is an entrepreneur program which offers rapid entry to Canada, usually in around 6 months on a work permit. It is a flexible program, which allows you to negotiate with the Province the terms and conditions your business will need to meet within the first two years of operation for you to obtain permanent residence. Regional programs require a net worth of $400,000 plus. The minimum investment required for the Regional programs is $200,000. If you want to start a business within the Greater vancouver area, the requirements double i.e. $800,000 net worth is required, and a $400,000 investment is required.

We can often facilitate entry to Britsih Columbia or to other Provinces through the purchase of a business, and the perfection of a viable business plan. We assist you throughout the process by structuring your proposal to the Provincial government, and helping you with every step of the immigration process until you meet the terms and conditions we negotiate with the Provincial government and your permanent residence visa is issued

The Investor category

For those persons who have achieved significant financial sucess, and do not want to rely on running a business in Canada in order to immigrate, the Immigrant Investor Programs offer a way to to do so. The Investor must have net assets of at least $1,600,000. For applicants in this category, unconditional permanent residence can be obtained, based on a 5-year deposit of $800,000 with the Federal government or the government of Quebec*. The funds, which the government uses for economic development, are returned to the Investor without interest after 5 years. We can facilitate financing for the $800,000 investment, freeing you to use your remaining funds for whatever purposes you wish, In addition our sources can make mortgage financing available to you for the purchase of a residence. Irrespective of whether you use the financing option, your funds are completely secure as they are guaranteed by the Federal Government or by the Province of Quebec.

*For a limited time, the government of Quebec may also allow applications to be filed based on a minimum net worth of $800,000 and an investment of $400,000 for 5 years. Processing is expected to be slower

Whatever program you use, We guarantee Investors the lowest financing fee and professional fees available in the market

Immigrant investors may benefit by legally avoiding payment of Canadian tax for 5 years after immigrating. This is a specialized area of tax planning, and for this reason we provide our clients with the appropriate referrals for professional advice

Investors who have children intending to study in Canada, will also benefit through lower tuition fees and the many scolarship and bursary programs available to Canadian residents. Dependent children who are under age 22, or those who are over 22 but still full-time students financially dependent on their parents, may be included in the Immigrant Investor's application.
