The Candian government will be accepting new applications in the skilled worker category in 2014, this applies to all persons with at least one year of full-time skilled work experience in the occupations listed. A separate program for the skilled trades is also available. Employees and tradespeople may qualify to immigrate under the Federal Canada Experience Class and Express Entry program if they have completed at least one year of skilled Canadian work experience and plan to live outside the Province of Quebec.
